i woke up at 9am but snuggled in bed till noon, reading 3/5 of danielle steel's novel The Gift. it's a heartwarming read and i like her novels cause the language's simple, thus making it so relatable, like you're able to understand the characters. okay, maybe for people like me who can't simply understand Shakespeare's thee and thy. it was difficult to put the book away but i wanna leave some part of it untouched, for me to read it on the train to see the boy tmr.
i'm happy cause it has been ages since i completed a whole book, either too busy to finish it or i just lose interest in it halfway.

been out the past 2 days. no matter how much i say i wouldn't wanna spend money, i still did): now i'm like really kinda broke.

thurs was out with huiqing to town and i totally don't feel like i'm in singapore standing beside her. she was wearing this biker jacket plus leggings plus high cut sneakers, i felt as if i had some winter clothes on too. especially walking past those huge poster boards opposite heeren, i thought i was overseas for that moment in time. we had our time catching up on stuffs, headed to the esplanade library and found out it was too artsy with theatre and dance and music books, we just wanted some simple read to past these days.

ended up taking some fun shots at the steps outside, and the view plus the wind blowing in our faces, was real nice(:












haha, looks like we're really having fun.







and so we left when the sky darkened, huiqing said she wanted to take the lift cause it looked posh. haha.




i was gonna get trapped!


and luckily the pretty saved me. phew.

dinner at the hawker center just opposite national library, she had tom yum which made her perspire like no one's business and i had the original yet nice mixed vege rice!(: borrowed books after, down to dhoby exchange where she bought brownie for her mum(awwwwwww.) and off home.
talked about what i wanna be in the future, tv presenter!! =D huiqing said i got that aura okay! *smirks* visualize, seeing me every morning on tv moblile at 7am "hi good morning! welcome to morning news on CNA. i'm jacqueline and he's dotdotdot. for today's headline news blah blah..." whaaaaaa~ *dreaming into space* and then i said for the economic section let us pass to harold, and she seemed so excited by my idea! HAHA. continued on if i go into chinese news instead, pris will help to write the script since she's interested in the sub and huiqing herself will help me, the presenter, to choose clothes everyday! =D
isn't that just purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfect! ;)

on to friday to bugis shopping with darlinggg kell. she asked me on a shopping trip to help her get clothes and guess what, in the end, she went home empty handed and i spent $49. rolleyes. but all were good deals though, so i'm happy! (: had a fun time with her the whole time and i lend her my phone to msg her tahaha and guess what he said, asked me not to bully her! hello~~~~~


the dress i bought with the belt at only $30, the material's nice and it looks as if it's from haji lane. =x

we spent almost 4 hours plus at bugis street and it's certainly not ahlianly if you know how to find great stuffs. there were great bags and clothes and some sickening auntie who thinks her glasses were so beautiful for us to even touch. pfffft.



lunched at the 2nd level cafe and dinner was the desert shop down the lane which sells yukee duck rice opposite swensens. darlingg had mango sago while i had red bean paste with peanut and sesame tangyuan. nice!(:

was heading home while we past Accessorize. EVERYTHING in there is so pretty, i swear i'm gonna own at least something from there. it's super super super nice, now i'm thinking of working there so i can look at the beautiful stuffs daily and maybe get staff discounts too(: but well, where got time for me to work, maybe next year.





and then something happened which had almost everyone's attention.
this man was scolding his gf right in the middle of nowhere, at the top of his voice. he certainly had no whatsoever right to do that to her especially if she does mean at least something to him. he could have done this somewhere private and we do not need to subject to his rantings, spoiling our moods too. you could see all the disagreements on women faces, with the one beside me stating. "she should just have kick his dick and walk off lah!" man, i so damn agree. and the thing is that the lady just stood there, without a word at all. this is certainly a moment where women should stand up for one another, and i'm so proud of this malay girl who went over and gave him a piece of her mind. and this sickening man said that it was none of her business and scolded her a bitch!
WTF?!

so kell being the kpo singaporean followed them outside where he brought her to. suggested that we take photos and opps, so accidently that they were in our background.
